WBC WILDCATS

The Willetton Baseball Club provides the opportunity for people to participate in playing softball during the summer months. The Club caters for players to participate at the Sub Junior [Under 13], Junior [Under 16],and Senior playing levels. The WBC Wildcats is a section of the Willetton Baseball Club (Inc) and is affiliated with the South East Metropolitan Softball Association [SEMSA]which in turn is affiliated with WASA.

The Club is based at the Willetton Reserve, Apsley Road Willetton and boasts having the largest number of representative Club teams participating in the Southern Metropolitan area. Training usually takes place at the Willetton Reserve. Games are played at nearby grounds in Ferndale,ie, Hossack Oval, Ferndale and Woodford reserves.

The WBC places a priority on

* introducing and developing players for ongoing participation in Softball,

* creating an atmosphere in which the aquisition of skills and enjoyment of playing are at least as important as the outcome of game results, and

* providing both players and their parents with enjoyable experiences in a friendly team and Club environment.
